A few months ago, I sat down with my colleague Marcus Guillard over coffee to talk about the state of the fabrication industry, the challenges of running multiple companies, and how to find balance in the chaos.
What came from that conversation was more than just perspective—it was a deeper friendship and the beginning of an exciting opportunity.
The acquisition of DEKA Fabrication by One Hat One Hand ensures that our clients will continue to receive some of the highest standards in architectural metalwork in the country, delivered with the same DEKA character and care you’ve come to expect. For me personally, this transition creates space to reset, spend meaningful time with my young family, and explore new projects (and a little travel). I’m not slowing down—but I am shifting gears. And I’d love to stay connected. Your trust and support have meant everything to me, and I’m deeply grateful for the chapters we’ve shared.
